Our Operations Reflect Our Values
Ralph Taylor Lumber not only values but operates under the guidelines of sustainable forestry practices. This includes responsibility in the maintenance of our forest land in consideration of land management for wildlife and recreation. Our company cooperates with state and national forestry departments and National wildlife refuge systems in the harvesting of trees.
Waste Not, Want Not
Ralph Taylor Lumber utilizes every fiber from the harvest of every tree for maximum benefits and in respect for the valuable natural resources it provides. The pulp wood is used to make paper products, sawdust, bark and chips are used to power dry kilns instead of natural gas, and updated equipment in our sawmills are used to maximize lumber produced per log.
